Welcome to the workshop

I’ve decided to change the name of this substack. Earth-shattering news, to be sure. But in piecing together what I’m trying to get done, makes a lot of sense. At least to me. My vision is for this to become something beyond the random piece now and again. Time to embrace the chaos of creativity and let the imagination frolic freely in the playground of prose.

So, welcome to Solana Workshop. I’ve had the name for years. Got the idea when visiting Solana Beach, CA, about five years before I lived there. Solana Workshop is my place for writing, thinking, talking, coaching, building, creating, and making sense of the journey. I’m also planning on publishing from this imprint and using it as a business name. Maybe even have t-shirts.

My journey has been a long series of left turns, mountaintops, deep valleys and dark alleys. I like to share what I’ve seen and hear back from others.This is going to get big over the next few years, so if you’re with me here early, I’m much obliged.
